Cheticamp is a small acadian fishing community along the western coast of the Cabot Trail. The community has about 4000 residents, a large majority of them are Acadians who’s first language is french. The town attracts tourists with its beautiful scenery, traditional Acadian rug hookers, food and music. Activities for visitors include whale watching, hiking, swimming, golfing, cultural events and festivals and photography.
